Progressive Learning

Progressive Learning is a blog kept by Christine Capota, an independent consultant specializing in educational media and research projects.  Christine holds an Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where she focused on Technology, Innovation and Education.  Her interests lie primarily in educational technology and its use in the developing world.  She holds a strong interest cognitive, social, and developmental psychology.

Prior to her graduate studies, Christine worked as Digital Media Analyst at Sesame Workshop, the non-profit organization most known for its production of Sesame Street. At Sesame, she analyzed new digital media initiatives such as podcasts, websites, and mobile video clips. She was also involved with the production of several Latin America projects, including the introduction of parenting tips and educational video segments from Plaza Sésamo to mobile phones in the US and Mexico.

Christine also holds a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University in Montréal, where she studied Psychology and Music. At McGill, she worked as a Music Cognition Researcher at the Sequence Production Lab for 3 years.
